Managing User Security

In the following pages, you will discover how to set up and manage security within Essential.

Cloud and Docker

Security can be set on Classes, slots, instances, reports, portals, pretty much anything.

You can set a default security that all users have when they are set-up in Essential. This is useful when bulk loading users, or for SAML users where users without an account are automatically provisioned when they login

Open Source

Open source security is much more limited and requires editing of the viewer configuration files
